Change of Plan

So, the West Highland Way was on the cards, but it was not to be.

Accommodation looked pricey, the weather wasn't looking to be kind, and only a few particularly brave / foolhardy souls were game.

So instead, the plan is to visit Arran and maybe have a go trekking up Goat Fell, which is a more modest hike up and down. If we're feeling up to the task. But more importantly, I'll spend some quality time with friends and loved ones, and return lighter and more full of mirth than the WHW was ever going to leave me... Or something like that.

In other news, new job starts next week – looking forward to learning and spotting 🛩️ Splashed out on a new desk and bag, really ergonomising my whole life... so if it doesn't work out, well, I guess I will have transcended the ergo. Cogito ergo sum; not good maths.
